Advisory Board
What is the Advisory Board?
Within the Plemmons Program, representatives from each class are selected by their peers. Once on the Advisory Board, the member's jobs are to provide the Advisor with input and advice on the program, serve as a liason to the class members, and assist with activities.
Specific responsibilities of the Advisory Board are:
- Each representative is responsible for maintaining contact with Plemmons Fellows from their class to seek their input and represent such during the board meetings, and to communicate back to those members decisions, recommendations, and other information
- Each representative is expected to attend all Advisory Board meetings
- Each representative is responsible for insuring completion of their class service activity and for the class group activity
- Members of the Advisory board facilitate ice-breaker or another activity during the general meeting
- Assisting with an annual evaluation of the Plemmons Fellows Program.
- Assisting in creating awareness of the Plemmons Fellows Program
- Assisting in keeping individual fellows engaged in the program
- Coordinating recognition of graduating seniors
- Coordinating Welcome Back and End-of-the-Semester activities
- Assisting in other ways towards the success of the W.H. Plemmons Fellows Program.
